Elise Lebec, who formerly called herself Tabitha Lebec, presents a second album of piano instrumentals with Possible Dreams, following her debut effort, Tabitha Plays Billich. (In between, she made a disc of vocal songs, Back to Innocence.) Possible Dreams demonstrates her attraction to such new age predecessors as George Winston and David Lanz, but it does not improve on them. Lebec is a capable, deliberate pianist, and Possible Dreams is a collection of dreamy material with titles like "A Drive Through Sunflowers" and "Colors of the Heart." It should appeal to fans of such music, but it is unlikely to supplant more impressive earlier efforts by better known artists in their affections. ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide
