I love my Panic as much as the next "spreadhead" ! Along with Traveling Light which was written by JJ Cale, they owe a lot to Neil Young (Mr. Soul), Vic Chestnutt (too many songs to list), The Band, The Dead, and so many more. They are not a "cover" band like many Panic haters like to joke, but some of their best jams are cover songs. I enjoy a nice cover sprinkled in a rockin show!

I agree that Widespread Panic does a nice job with it, but JJ Cale wrote the song.
