My So-Called Life (Explicit)
About This Album
From the cover art to the back photograph, not to mention the title, it's pretty obvious as to what you're getting with My So-Called Life, the second album from nĂ¼-metal Chicagoans From Zero. Melodies wrapped around "no one understands me" and "I'm trying, man" lyrics, Eminem-sounding raps about how "you and me, girl, we may not get along sometimes," and that classic alt-metal melody-heavy riff-melody macho posturing abound here. It also must be said that it's about time that some metal band covered Phil Collins' "I Don't Care Anymore," which is the best track on this record. ~ Chris True, All Music Guide
