The Sepultura and Soulfly posse certainly rubbed off on their fair share of subsequent metal bands, especially such groups as Full Blown Chaos, and their 2006 release, Within the Grasp of Titans. But being influenced by the aforementioned Max Cavalera-related groups certainly isn't a bad thing at all, as Sepultura was easily one of the most original metal acts to rise to prominence in the '90s. As a result, Within the Grasp of Titans is loaded with quite a few Sepultura-isms (gnarly riffs, hollered/hardcore vocals, "us against them" lyrics, etc), as evidenced by such tracks as "Trials of Triumph," "Rise & Fight," and "Suffer in Silence." In the immortal words of Zack de la Rocha, "Anger is a gift," and the gentlemen in Full Blown Chaos certainly live by those golden words. ~ Greg Prato, All Music Guide
