This is without question one of the most interesting, listenable, enjoyable discs to come around in recent years. Halden's vocals are rich with a pure honky-tonk feel and his band is one mighty talented bunch of pickers. The whole album has a devil-may-ca r e attitude as it swings its way from hard core drinking tunes (Don't Care If I Do) to a the tongue-in-ch e e k (Hippie In My House, My Baby Hates Honky Tonks) with equal consideratio n . It's well worth whatever you have to pay for it.
