Here's a one-stop shopper that really rings the bell. This 20-track set not only brings all of the cool tracks by the Heartbeats together (their biggie was "A Thousand Miles Away"); it also ropes in the later hits by Shep & the Limelites, who followed the storyline with subsequent efforts like "Daddy's Home" and "Our Anniversary." The song selection is primo, the sound is stellar, and the notes from doo wop mavens Phil Groia and Donn Fileti are exhaustive and informative.
