About This Album
Heather Duby has teamed up with a team of musicians called Elemental to create a surprisingly quality techno/dub/drum'n'bass/backbeat album. The lush vocals come courtesy of Miss Duby, who is very reminiscent of Madonna in her delivery and tone. The songs do a good job of flowing together and all have a pretty reliable beat. Songs like "From Here to Gone" showcase Elemental at their best, with slick production laying down hip electronic beats together with synthesized horn bleats. When Duby's voice is thrown on top, it's almost mesmerizing. This is a great album to chill out to or to utilize as background music, not to mention a solid release for this tag-team effort. ~ Kurt Morris, All Music Guide
