I know War w/ Eric Burdon did this cut. It makes me wonder who did a remake of who? I definitelt like this funky version though. "The funkiest flute solo, ever"(accord i n g to James Brown) is off of Kool & the Gang's "Give it Up". A definite must-hear in any music connoisseur' s library.
