Shame on you Andy Kellman for calling this his weakest album. This album is produced from a different perspective, almost has a heavenly, biblical, surreal feeling to it, hence the title- Kingdom Come. Granted it is cut from a different cloth as the rest of Jay-Z's albums, but I feel elevated to a higher power when I listen to such songs as Lost Ones, Beach Chair, Do You Wanna Ride (these are all very mellow, contemplative tracks).
All of Jay Z's albums are classics. This one is no exception. We are livin in the era of the greatest rapper to touch a mic. Hope he's got many more to come. Anyone that says hes fallin off must be listenin to a different Jay Z.
I don't care what people say this album is classic, it's Jayz with a fresh look. I think the hardcore heads don't like it bcuz it's not 'as' drug or sex laced, It has meaning and some content to the braggadocia. It's not 'his' best album but it's one 'the' best rap albums ever made.... admittadely I hold Jay to a higher standard.
Everyone is saying that Hov has fell off, but I'm still digging hime. This ins't his best cd, but I like it alot. My faves are Kingdom Come, 30 Something, Hollywood, and Dig A Hole
