My internet research says Johnny had a studio session on August 4, 1957 recording some of these songs. I found an album titled Country Boy but it was released in 2005 with a different set of songs. No idea about the actual date of this album.

I believe this is one of the best albums that Johnny ever had. It seems like they just don't make country music the way they used to. When we lost Johnny, we lost a great singer.
