This is one of several compilations of Jorge Ben songs from the late '70s and the '80s. Although still enjoyable, most of the music recorded by Ben during this period pales in comparison with his outstanding '60s and '70s output. For a fan of the music of Jorge Ben, there are still definitely some worthwhile moments on this collection, for example the frenetic sambas "No Reino Encantado do Amor" and "A Banda do Zé Pretinho." ~ Philip Jandovský, All Music Guide
