Less than two months after its original release, Lil' Flip's U Gotta Feel Me receives the screwed and chopped treatment from Paul Wall, as pioneered by the late DJ Screw. The trick can wear thin, especially when all 21 tracks -- spread across two discs -- get the same pitched-down and woozy effects. Perhaps screwed and chopped versions of the best cuts should've been tacked to the end of the original release's running order; the album's more somber and songful moments, such as "Sun Don't Shine," just seem silly mixed this way. The leadoff track, a brief introduction that doubles as a tribute to Screw, is the only bonus. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
