Lynyrd Skynyrd is one of the best lyve bands to ever play rock and roll musik if not the very best.And Mr Van Zant didnt have to jump up and down and run across stage to make that clear- They didnt need smoke or fire, just a flag from home and mabey a few beer cans on the piano and amps.God bless Ronnie, Allen, Gary, Leon, Ed (original who left), Billy and Artimus!

I actually was there when they recorded it at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. I'm pretty sure you can hear me yelling "Freebird" when he asked,"...wh a t is it you want to hear?"

you didnt need to come from the south to love this band. This album is one of the best albums of all time. It will forever bring back awesome memories of my teen years

one of the greatest albums every put together,if you came from the south and lived the 70's it was so real and these guys were a big part of it.

Get the 25th anniversary remix version, it has alternate takes from the 2 other nights this show was recorded over and additional crowd banter from the stage; not to mention the mix and overall sound is way better. I should know, I've bought every version of this album 4 different times now!
