Funny, everyone assumes all the guitar work was Deke. In fact Micky Jones was the better player of the two, and the primary guitarist. They both played a lot, but the tricky stuff was Micky. This album was an obvious attempt to fit their sound into a more commercial mold. Too bad the farewell live album wasn't all that good. The Welsh Connection material played live was as good as anything they ever did. I still like this one a lot. Just don't expect flat out rockers here, with the exception of
