You don't just have to shred to make good music.
Marty does both. And for that I give him props. This may be my gamer senses tingling, but some of these songs sound like they belong in a videogame. Don't know why, but it's awesome that way. |

He may not be the best, but Marty is definitely up there at the top. My number one inspiration for picking up a guitar, and this is going to be the first thing I buy when I finally get a car. Saying that makes me feel ghetto. I still don't have a car? Oh well. I have a guitar.

Sure there are better, axe slingers out there, but Marty elevated Megadeth to the next level. awesome melodies..ex c e p t for Poland the best Megadeth guitar player.

"Dragon Kiss" is by far Friedmans best work. He is very inconsistent with his solo records.

I'm sorry but as good as Marty Friedman is there are those who are far better. Take for example Satriani, John Petrucci, or Vinnie Moore. Gary Hoey is also very good. I think Friedman sounded alot better when he was with Megadeth
