Filled with familiar numbers, this collection is a better showing for Michael Crawford than Songs from the Stage and Screen. The LSO is balanced out better, the performances seem far less rushed, and Crawford is in far better shape vocally. The big surprise: Art of Noise keyboardist Anne Dudley turns in an arranging and conducting job on "When I Fall in Love" that would make Nelson Riddle nod appreciatively. ~ Steven McDonald, All Music Guide
