Paul Cardall's tender-hearted treatment of spiritual children's songs makes Primary Worship one of his most accessible albums. Light piano arrangements are accompanied at times by sensational cellist Steven Sharp Nelson and percussionist Randy Herbert. Cardall gives these songs a grown-up sound rather than attempting anything too light or playful.
