About This Album
The second in the series of Namlook/Schulze collaborations, The Dark Side of the Moog 2 consists of the hour-long track "A Saucerful of Ambience" (the entire series includes Pink Floyd references). As on the first, the music is beatless space music (minus the tremendous feelings of depth on most of Schulze's works), though artificial effects similar to bird calls and faraway bells punctuate the mix continually. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
