PT has always been rather concerned about the quality of the sound...it is no surprise the live sound is as good as the studio sound.

Wow! to be compared to Pink. That means alot. I agree, the guitar reminds me of early Floyd, "meddle" and the like....

It's actually easier to play loud and fast. PT shows their real prowess in the soft, slow passages in this kind of tune. This is especially true of the instrumental section at the beginning -- I could have sworn this was recorded in the studio.

The live version of "The Sky Moves Sideways" is simply awesome! I would love to see this song performed live but this time with Gavin Harrison cutting loose on the drums instead of Chris Maitland who plays drums on this live album. Maitland is a very solid, entertaining drummer but Harrison is downright amazing and one of the best playing today!
