New Weave's "Rare Silk" was one of the best recordings ever made. No can apparently figure out why this group never made it big. I first heard it in
the mid-80's, lost it, then "re-found" it 10 years or so later.

This recording belongs in the range of classics along with the high levels of one of a kind stuff by Ella, Jimmie Smith,J.J.Jo h n s o n , Satchmo,Quin c y ' s "Back on the Block," Hank Williams (Yes!), Tshchicovski ' s "1812 Overture," Les Paul & Mary Ford's "High High the Moon....
