Re: Zound released their album Breathe in 2003. The project marked a milestone for members Jason Anderson, Jeff Zubeck, Dustin Carlson, Erik Brunner, Terry Dillard, and Mike Kaminski who watched the album's single "Angel" gain popularity on MTV's "Undiscovered Bands" song chart for almost a year.

In general, the album is somewhat one-dimensional and simple, lacking musical depth or "layers" in its arrangements. Heavy metal in style, the project uses pop production techniques. Songs include the title cut and "Alive." ~ Ashleigh Kittle Slater, All Music Guide
