I think this album is one of their best. It harkens back to their earlier work. Their is a rawness that was missing from many of their recent albums. My favorite tracks are Daysleeper and Walk Unafraid. Strong similarities to Murmur.

You really have to be a fan of R.E.M. to buy this one. Not recommended for new listenners of R.E.M. I think it's good. Definitely not their best but nevertheless R.E.M. put together a decent album after Bill Berry left. If I had to pick a favorite song...I'd say "Why Not Smile".
