About This Album
Ricochet's second album Blind of an Eye is similar to their eponymous debut, finding the group running through a selection of restrained country-rockers and earnest, polished ballads. Only a handful of tracks truly connect -- such as the singles "He Left a Lot to Be Desired" and "Don't Forget to Feed the Jukebox (While I'm Gone)" -- but the group is skilled enough to make the filler sound pleasant, even though it's not quite enough to make the record consistently enjoyable. ~ Thom Owens, All Music Guide
