"Song From a Secret Garden" is lovely! It's based on Gabriel Faure's "Pavane", which explains why I found it so familiar the first time I heard it.

Wow I found it really interesting that other people are using this music to write too, so am I. I have this on my station used just for that; music to write to. What else are you using? I've also got Lorena McKennitt, Mike Oldfield (this guy is amazing), the soundtrack from Lord of the Rings, Clannad, Enya, Thomas Tallis, Blackmore's Night, Qntel, Orla Fallon and Cusco.

it's especially good for fantasy writing (and reading)- beautiful, ethereal, almost haunting. passacaglia may be my favourite song on the album. elan, the rap, and adagio are also wonderful.

One of my very favorite CDs. Every track is just perfect. You push play and the music just carries you away. I agree with wednesday.ma c too. It is PERFECT music to write to!

This is superb music to write to. It gets out of the way, yet stimulates creativity. The melancholy pieces are so evocative, stirring images to work with.

i heard nocturne once when i was 11. now i am 22 today i heard it for the second time in past 22 years and i recognized it instantly i am in love with this whole album and i would like to thank pandora for helping me find what my soul needed the most. great work.
