Simon Harris, not Chuck D or Terminator X of Public Enemy, was the first to come up with the slogan "Bass (How Low Can You Go)." It was a huge hit in England and on the dance circuit, although Public Enemy should be credited with popularizing it through their albums. Unfortunately, Harris didn't get much mileage out of it or this album after the initial hit played out. He did have another hit in England with "Here Comes That Sound." ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide
