using the correct terminology, the music is a leitmotif for the movie like Peter And The Wolf. IE: Bullet-Tooth Tony's song is "Sensual Woman".

Fantastic movie of a weird, inner-woven plot by Guy Riche and crew, and a very spot-on soundtrack. Disco Science by Mirwais is a real gem along with Angel from Massive Attack; Oasis with F**kin In The Bushes is also an excellent pick. The other tracks have killer textures and as chern50 mentioned, they are well-matched with their scene. The songs are so well picked, they seem tailored to each scene like an fine Italian suit.

The best soundtrack in the history of movies. i mean for freak sake, every song is so groovy and fitting to the scene.
