Fans of Venom rejoice for the group has released a powerful and competent metal excursion with Resurrection. This disc showcases a wider sound for the band with a well-produced recording. The music ranges from the fast and frantic to the slower and more plodding, all delivered with a style that showcases the group's originality and unique sound. They seem to lose their sense of direction occasionally, but overall this one is quite a cohesive and even CD. Highlights of the album include "All There Is Fear," "Firelight," and "Pandemonium."
