The Best of Warrant collects all of the band's singles for Columbia, plus album tracks mostly culled from Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich and Cherry Pie. Since Warrant was primarily a singles band whose albums were often cluttered with unmemorable filler, this is the most consistent single disc in their catalog, even with the pointless remake of Queen's "We Will Rock You," and it's the most entertaining way to hear some of pop-metal's best singles, like "Down Boys" and "Sometimes She Cries." A case could be made for more material from Cherry Pie, which was more consistent than its predecessor, but The Best of Warrant is all that anyone but the devoted will need. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
Steve Huey is a moron! Warrant is still touring, pulling in a younger crowd, and still rocking their asses off for the fans. The "Filler" he's talking about would be songs that the whole crowd screams every word along with the band at the shows. Obviously Steve wasn't an 80's child, and doesn't have a grasp of the music from that era. He's really missing out Don't take his word for it, listen for yourself! I'd hate to see people missing out on alot'a great music because this hack didn't like it!
