Way Out West
About This Album
Although Way Out West began their career in straight-ahead house, the duo works through many different forms on their album debut. "Domination" ascends into airy drum'n'bass territory after a mainstream intro, while tracks like "King of the Funk" and "Drive By" get more than a little aggressive, in contrast to the easygoing funk of "Questions Never Answered." Altogether, Way Out West is a varied, engaging debut. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
