If you look at the cover of the CD there it even says Circa 1999, and if you read their excerpt it says Where We Stand was "re-released". In other words, it was released in 1999, and then they decided to put it out 'again' in 2005.
The band released their first album, Midget Tossing, in 1997. Sean Mackin he was not a full-fledged member yet, as he still objected to many of the band's messages. Where We Stand, their second album, featured the same lineup as Midget Tossing. Soon Ben Dobson lost interest in the band and left. He was replaced by Ryan Key. This changed the band's music style drastically, from hardcore punk to pop punk. It also changed their fan base, leaving a fresh start.
Uh... It says 2005, but I think this was the really old Yellowcard, before 2000, before Ryan Key. They were really punk then, but as Key got in and the old vocalist left, Makin's violin playing also became way significant, and then they went on to One for the Kids. I don't get the whole 2005 thing...
