About This Album
The album that first gave shape to the established Yes sound, build around science-fiction concepts, folk melodies, and soaring organ, guitar, and vocal showpieces. "Your Move" actually made the U.S. charts as a single, and "Starship Trooper," "Perpetual Change," and "Yours Is No Disgrace" became much-loved parts of the band's concert repertory for many tours to come. possibly the greatest YES album. I believe whoever chose the similar Albums based it on goofy looking long hairs on the album cover, with the exception of the Grateful Dead Album (although they had plenty of goofy looking long hairs)

Readers of this page unfamiliar with Yes may be wondering where "Your Move" is. On the track list, #4 would better be listed as "Your Move / I've Seen All Good People."

To Travis Damboise - if you like Floyd, then create a station for Rush or Yes. Seems like almost every other song is Pink Floyd on those stations.

You get to listen what THE MAN says you get to listen to. I have started with a Yes station and ended up 8 hours later with Judas Priest on the same station.

When you create a station based on a group, Pandora plays them often - but not exclusively. They also play other artists with songs/styles similar to that of the primary artist. You'll probably get Genesis, King Crimson & ELP along with Floyd. It's a business model based on the cost of song licensing. You'll also find you can't reply/rewind , too. Further, your ability to fast-forward to the next track is limited over time. Each song costs this service money to play - even if it's only a second.

why don't I get to hear Pink Floyd on Pink Floyd radio? this is the fifth song in a row that ISN'T Pink Floyd. what gives?

The version of "Clap" is a bonus track from the 2003 Rhino remaster of "The Yes Album".

The attribution may be incorrect... I have this edition of the album, and it's the original "Clap". Another possibiliy: I believe there is a second group of remasters after the '95 ones that I have; maybe they are playing a bonus track from a different version that's not on the 95 remaster? I haven't checked, but a quick gander on Amazon should answer that question. BTW-- Did you know the actual name is "Clap" w/o the "The". The "The" was added by mistake by Atlantic and stuck ever since.

The performance of "The Clap" as played by Pandora and attributed to "The Yes Album" is not the same as the original vinyl/CD version. Perhaps the remastered version substituted a different performance, not as clean (performance - w i s e ) as the original, or the attribution is incorrect.
