Biography
Los Angeles-based thrash outfit Five Finger Death Punch formed in 2005 around the talents of former U.P.O. guitar player Zoltan Bathory, former W.A.S.P. guitarist Darrell Roberts, vocalist Ivan Moody (Motograter/Ghost Machine), bass player Matt Snell (Anubis Rising), and former W.A.S.P. drummer Jeremy Spencer. The underground supergroup's volatile but groove-heavy debut, Way of the Fist, was released in 2007, followed by War Is the Answer in 2009. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide

P.S. check out 2cents!!!!!! another great and up coming band!!!! puts on a DAMN good show. it was a privilege to see them open up for FFDP!! Adam is one crazy, a** kicking, enraged front man/ drummer!!!!! ! ! ! ! !

FFDP is the weakest excuss for metal out there. Y does the drummer even have a double pedal? he obveasly cant use it. How can ppl think this s**t is heavy? Five Finger Butthole Thrust is more like it...

I've been a metal head for quite awhile and i have to say that FFDP's arrangments and up beat metal riffs are f'n great, but i do have to agree with english muffin that the lyrics on the new album are on the weak side. This band does f'n rock in concert, hell of a show. Ive never seen so many people crowd surf at one time in my life!

Wow. Their new album, "War is the Answer", sucks; almost all the songs are incredibly weak compared to any song on "Way of the Fist".
Total sell outs. There are only three good songs: "Dying Breed", "Bullet Proof", and "War is the Answer". |
