Biography
Discovered by Michael Bivins of New Edition, 702 is a teenage trio -- Irish, Kameelah, and Lemisha -- who made their recorded debut singing on Subway's hit single "This Lil' Game We Play." The group released their debut album, No Doubt, in the fall of 1996, preceded by the single "Steelo." Several other singles from the album followed in 1997, including the title track, "Get It Together," and "All I Want." This is sad - everybody got they something and to make a homophobic statement like that in this day and age where human rights are being challenged and everywhere else in the world just to be "yourself" is a crime - Gavin if you didn't realize someone died - someone who brought happines, joy, and a musical escape to millions - dude - i guess yo mama never taught you if you can't say anything nice don't say it at all - i give love and my condolences to the grinistad family - orish will be missed

Irish didn't die. it was her twin sister Orish. she was the one who filled in for Lemisha when she had her son. She was also in the group when they first started out before they released their first album. When they had 4 members.

I am a true fan of 702 and was heartbroken when I read that recently Irish past on due to an illness, she will be truly missed god bless 702 and their family and may her music live on forever.
