Seventh Day Slumber
Biography
Dallas-based alternative CCM band Seventh Day Slumber was led by frontman Joseph Rojas, a former cocaine addict who turned to religion in the wake of a near-fatal overdose. Teaming with guitarist Evan Weatherford, bassist Joshua Schwartz and drummer Adam Witte, he formed Seventh Day Slumber in 1996, and upon signing to the Afinia label the group issued Matthew Twenty-Five three years later. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide

Great contemporary Christian music artist, they came to my church for a concert and I could feel my heart palpitating from the intense bass line and awesome percussion.

طائرة مقاتلة من المعادي دنفر كولورادو , As far as i know, none are ethnically jewish. as for beliefs, they have a new testament. Jews dont use that.

i'm just curious, why does the article say that 7th day slumber "was" led by rojas, as if he isnt the singer? (i looked it up, hes still is)
what's up wit the whole "religion" debate? This wall is for discussing the artist, not their religion! (BTW Christianity is a religion, stop denying it)
7th Day Slumber is one of my favorite bands. I am a strong Christian and I appreciate the Christian singers who show their faith in their songs. Go 7th Day Slumber! You Rock! |

yea i am saved, but i hate religion. religion put Jesus on the cross. My sin put Jesus on the cross. religion is a man-made institution. I am a blood bought disciple of Jesus Christ. its the only way to live.

So woj6666 where will you spend eternity?-sm o k i n g or non-smoking! Eternity is indeed a very long time to be wrong. The only thing "blatan" is the stinch of our sin in the nostrils of a holy God! But remember 2 truths (not twisted opinions)Jes u s would rather go to hell for you than to heaven without you and It was our sin that nailed Jesus to the cross-but it was His love for us that held Him there. Dont worry Waffle-no weapon formed against us will prosper!!! cbo 7 string.

another way to bash on christians.. .
we dont really need reasons to. I dont mind as long as its woven into the song not blanten |
very true flaming waffle, religion means nothing. he turned to God not religion.

"a former cocaine addict who turned to religion in the wake of a near-fatal overdose" way to go Pandora, another way to bash on christians.. . He found a reason to live, not "turn to religion".

I saw you guys live at Rock For Life Training and Activism 2009! You guys rock!

I just can't believe Mr.Rojas was a cocaine addict. Shows that even those thought of as nothing can flip their coin of life with a single choice.

Christianity is a religion, But it is also a lifestyle. It is a friendship, a journey, and a course that leads you back to the God who gave you life.
Religion is a study. Christianity is both a relationship and a lifestyle. A few people believe that Christianity is a study, but it is simply salvation through faith and redemption through a change of heart.
Christianity is a lifestyle. That's the problem with people today. They're all looking for a religion that is suitable for them. I appreciate you saying that "thatperson"

I am soooo happy to see these guys still around! I saw them probably in '96 in a little coffee shop and I bought one of their CD's. Probably their first I guess? I always loved their music and message but sort of assumed they weren't around anymore! I recognized the voice right away on Pandora and now have to go out and find their other albums! :)

I hate religion, yet I think "I Believe" is a great song. Put your lighters up.
