This lady though unknown to me, has much talent blowing that flute that she plays. I hope to find her CD in stores in the near future.

Althea performs in Austin, Tx a lot. We got to see her for no cover charge at this club called The Studio here. I'm not sure if she's based out of this area or not, but she does perform at quite a few different clubs in this area. We love her.

I think I've found my newest favorite artist. this track is a kind of mix (to me) between Nestor Torres, Four Play and Paul Hardcastle. Good stuff, and she's quite the hottie, too!
She's Great! She's another Bobbi Humfrey! And, for the Music Record, this musical genre is really called, "Groove Jazz", or "Cool Jazz" and not "smooth jazz".
Rene is a definite pleasure to my ears, I hope to hear more from her.

Hey, move over Dave Valentine and watch out Bobby Humphrey...t h i s girls got a sweet sound to give you guys "a run for your money" (just kidding).
I really enjoyed her flute playing though...and like someone else said, "KEEP BLOWIN' THAT FLUTE GIRL"...beca u s e you have arrived! |
WOW!!! She worked that flute out!!!!I knew it was her (Althea)list e n i n g from the other room. I was streaming Pandora.com and heard a flute being blown to pieces and so I paused my phone conversation for a moment to listen and I knew it was her. I had the one and only opportunity (thus far) to see/hear her perform live at the San Dimas Jazz Festival (July 2007), if anyone knows out there knows where/when she will be playing in So.Cal please email tdiva@cox.ne t KEEP BLOWING GIRL!!!

Actually I've known "Althea" for over 35 years! We went to George Ford Middle School, in Detroit, Michigan! I've known here since the 6th grade, and believe it or not, she started playing the flute, then! In our school band! She has come a long way since then, obviously, and I for one am so very proud of her, and privileged to call her my friend.

Something a little different, smooth and easy. Reminds me of a long drive along the Carolina coastline.
