I agree adornable, ramien1271 is right on, and very eloquently put, I must say! I've always liked how they keep the rhythm an important part of the work, but not overwhelming . There is an intensity, but not overpowering .

Absolutely some of the best, highest-qual i t y ambient music out there. Amethystium projects a mystical, ancient, pulsating feel through their music, thoroughly mysterious and otherworldly , yet completely modern in its approach. The music is mature and sophisticate d , but never boring, and the beats are always subtly tied to the song - never muzak or smooth jazz, but not so booming that it disrupts the song's essence, beautifully balanced between modern electronica and ancient world music.
