Biography
With a penchant for old-school rhymes and lo-fi beats, Andre Nickatina hails from the West Coast. He released Cocaine Raps and Raven in My Eyes simultaneously on the Dogday imprint, but it was the trilogy of 1999's Tears of a Clown and 2000's These R the Tales and Daiquiri Factory Cocaine Raps that put Nickatina on the West Coast circuit. After these releases emerged during what was highly regarded as his golden period, Nickatina followed up in 2003 with the highly ambitious CD/movie project Conversation With a Devil. ~ Rob Theakston, All Music Guide

Dre Dog AKA Andre Nikatina is SiK, and So is Zion i, but i'd put Zion i in more of a Living Legends/Phar s i d e bay area catagory. correct me if im wrong but i think Andre Nikitina is more Mac Dre-ish/bay area mix tape steeze.

Andre Nickatina is a Highly intense artist with rhymes and beats that can only be matched by the late Mac Dre. His first set of albums under the name "Dre Dog" were incredible and impressive. I suggest listening to "Smoke Dope and Rap" by Dre Dog, and then "I'm A Junkie" By Andre Nickatina to see really how far he has come with his rap game

Does not anyone know about his first releases as "Dre Dog"?. The sickest song is "off that chewy" and "lips". The name of that album was "The New Jim Jones".
