What?! This singer's sound is a virtual carbon copy of Coverdale! Much closer to Coverdale and even Tony Martin than to Dio. Doesn't sound like Dio in the least - at least not to anyone who really knows Dio.

Speaking of dio and halford (sir iron heart) Ripper owens can sing like both of those guys!, This makes me really want to check out this band

The singer does sound like Dio. That's true and he was very well influenced, but they are unique. They know what they are doing.

I like it a lot, sounds more like Dio meets Blind Guardian, but the end results are quite good, too bad there is no Bio on them, I will have to Google them.I forgot about Tony Martin, come to think of it it could pass for him.

The vocals sound like Dio & Halford mixed together.... I dig this! True to form POWER METAL!

This band is fantastic. The singer is clearly influenced by the Metal God (especially if he is the lyricist, too), but he has his own style and sounds great. The whole band makes me want to listen again and again.

Pandora is awesome! '80s Metal Lives!!! Hell, all Metal Lives!!!! Think about how appropriate Metal is: the history of this planet would be totally different if we'd had to continue with stone and wooden implements! Oh, no, let's NOT go there!!!!!! Phew!

I hit this link to see if it was Tony Martin. Sounds exactly like him and I really thought he had a new band. Pandora is always finding me new stuff to listen to...

good solid band, agreed. I think Hibria's vocalist is a little closer in sound to Dio though. Hope the 80's Metal Revival takes hold in the U.S.

Astral Doors are awesome! :) Nils Patrik Johansson is an amazing vocalist, you can hear the Ronnie James Dio influences and rightly so. He also reminds me a bit of the other Sabbath singer Tony Martin. Check out their website for more info:
