The Astronaut's made at least a half a dozen albums for RCA in the 60's but their best in my opinion was their first "Surfin with the Astronauts" which contained "Baja", Henry Mancini's "Banzai Pipeline" and an interesting "Susie Q". It was produced by Lee Hazlewood, who also produced Duane Eddy, and Nancy Sinatra.

One of the greatest surf bands. Frat band signed by RCA, flown to LA and turned into a surf band. Based in Boulder, Colorado. Very liquid sound produced by the dual rhythm guitars.
