Biography
Coming out of Southern California during the rap-metal explosion around the turn of the century, Atreyu crafted a sound much closer to Agnostic Front or Hatebreed. The metalcore quintet was formed by Brandon Saller (drums/vocals), Dan Jacobs (guitar), Chris Thomson (bass), Travis Miguel (guitar), and Alex Varkatzas (vocals). Their warped, detuned guitars are matched by pounding drums and acidic vocals, which give the material an edge otherwise absent from their sludge metal. Atreyu released various demos, including the seven-song EP Visions, in the late '90s before commercially debuting with the Fractures in the Facade of Your Porcelain Beauty EP on Tribunal in late 2001; the full-length Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses appeared the next year on Victory. Touring almost nonstop in support of the record, the group faced lineup changes as bassist Marc McKnight replaced Thomson before the recording of their follow-up. Atreyu's second full-length, The Curse, surfaced in June 2004 and went on to sell over 300,000 copies; it was re-released with an accompanying DVD a year later. The guys hit the road hard, playing 2004's Ozzfest and 2005's Warped Tour, in addition to headlining their own successful world tour.

Atreyu, this band has always made me giggle. They used to be so scary when I was twelve, but now they are just laughable. I mean, these guys are nowhere as hardcore as say, Finntroll or Thrones of Dawn. But I must admit I bought their new album.

You know, when that plane crashed in PA, it left "the same material" scattered over a large area. Why would other planes exploding be any different?

Oh, and WTC7 fell down several hours later, not at the same time. It fell at 5:20 PM, and the Twins fell around 10:29 AM. Not even close! Firefighters watched it burn all day because they knew they couldn't save it, and worked on the people they thought they could save. You aren't even trying to work with the facts.

Hmmm, the firefighters themselves say that the building was damaged and on fire, and they chose to ignore it due to bigger issues, and you're surprised it fell down. Why don't you run a car into your mom's house, set it on fire, don't let the firefighters near it, and tell me if it falls.

The only firefighters trained and experienced in jet fuel work at airports you dumbass. They go through special training. The ones at the WTC were not airport firefighters , they were city ones, and they are trained in explosives and other things that burn buildings. Apparently you know nothing about firefighters .

Here's the flaw in your argument: logic. IF the gov did conspire to blow them up, then Bin Laden has to work for the government. If that were true, then he would've been "caught" so Republicans would look good and win the next election. But he wasn't. He made a fool of the Reps, and the Dems now have majority in Congress, and the Dems are sending more troops to Afghanistan to continue looking for him. Not exactly as planned, huh?

When a plane hit the fuel sprays everywhere and burns everything. Look at footage of other plane wrecks and you will see the exact same thing in every case. It's physics, and you can't get around that. The question you SHOULD be asking is why the government failed to stop it. Intel warned it was going to happen, and it wasn't stopped because people didn't believe it was possible, same as the Japs bombing Pearl Harbor.

A Death-Grip on Yesterday had to have been their best release, it lasted for a solid year in my playlist. Lead sails barely lasted 2 months, still good compared to the nickelback-e r a of disgusting music, but needed more variance like Death-Grip had.
