This band is awesome. I saw them several times in the early 90's, and they ROCKED my face off. Going Home is one of my favorite songs.

Oh, and they were around before Finch the band or the clothing company. They both obviously had a respect/love for the book and wanted to pay tribute. It's not about stealing, it's about showing respect.

that is strange. i luv to kill a mockingbird. ultimate piece of 60's literature. i had to write an essay on the character qualites of Atticus earlier this year.

Atticus was a clothing company started by the guys from Blink 182. The name was derived from Atticus Finch form To Kill a Mockingbird. The company "Atticus" released three compilations , called "Dragging the Lake". The band Finch was featured on at least one of these.

This fail band is not related to any of these, the compilaiton, the clothing company, the novel, nor the band Finch.

But man do they suck.

Good band. It helps to like a blues/rock downbeat with a heavy metal after burner thrown in to round out the sound. I LIKE it. And who cares where they got their name from? They can call their band anything they want. That's artistic license. Lynard Skynard named their band after a redneck high school phys. ed. teacher who hated rock music- so what? Cheers.

These guys suck, not to mention their name is stolen. Finch, a band from the atticus label, had the same idea (atticus+fin c h = a t t i c u s finch?) they were just more subdued in how they went about it.
