I heard years ago that Bent Fabric is an alias for Steve Allen, tonight show host and TV personality. If true, how and why did this come about?

His version of "Alley Cat" is playing now and that was one of the 1st ones I learned on the piano when I was 9....many years ago. The song still plays well and listens well to boot.

The Song I want to hear sometime is Bent Fabric's "The Happy Puppy" which I learned by playing a 45 rpm record on my little phonograph at age 9. I loved that song and kept playing it over and trying to play like Mr. Fabric, with that echoing sound that the keys had. I managed to get pretty close.
