This band was more than just Janis Joplin. They were a force in thier own right before Janis started playing with them. However, I am veryglad they found each other. It sucks that there is no bio, nor a better discography for this band.

Everybody loved her; it wasn't enough. She carried so much pain for all of us and it killed her. A measure of her power as a singer is they had to match her up with a band of the power of Big Brouther and the Holding Company to keep up with her. Sail on, honey; keep singing. She always makes me cry.

I get a head/heart rush every time I listen to this song. Quite simply the best
