Biography
The funky-folk duo B**ch & Animal came together in the late '90s. B**ch hails from Detroit and Animal was born and raised in Queens, NY and the two met after play rehearsal at a theater school in Chicago. For the next few years, B**ch & Animal honed their signature sexually-charged musical style; What's That Smell marked their debut in 1999. Ani DiFranco signed them to her Righteous Babe label that same year, and touring throughout North America and Europe followed. Eternally Hard marked B**ch & Animal's sophomore effort in 2001; two years later, the band's most cohesive and humorous material to date was captured on Sour Juice and Rhyme. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, All Music Guide

I so fell in love with these guys the first time I heard them. I thought it was like kind of quirky joke music but I listened to the lyrics and there is wisdom behind those bongo beats.
