The Black Mages
Selected Discography
To edkimsey. I'm currently working on a video game radio, combining The Advantage, Miniboss, and this band, though it's somewhat slow going.

We're missing a CD here, and I've got no idea why. One of the best ones, too.
Anyone who's added them to their station, if you haven't heard "Clash on the Big Bridge" yet, then give it a look. In my opinion, it's one of their best. |

I'M digging this. I never heard of them. I'll add it to my wish list.

How did I not know about this? Who has been keeping it a secret from me? I love the games, I love the music, and here it is revamped, revived, and rockin'!
I'm buying it, as soon as I'm rich. What the hell are those, import prices? Don't care. I'm leaving. |

Genious. Uematsu was brilliant alone, then he added rock and what a result. 2 brilliant albums. The FFVII: AC OST is class too, One Winged Angel, one of the best tunes ever. Has to be said though...whe r e did they find the singer girl for Otherworld?! Their worst song, but that just shows the standard of their music. And videogame radio.. what if you could input these tracks into the original games, how awsome would that be!

Now that I found these guys the lame music from FF XII won't matter as much cause I can just play it to this :D

Nobuo Uematsu did an amazing job composing the Final Fantasy series and I was so stoked to find this album. The band (Nobuo himself plays the keys) still keeps the same style that was intended for the scene, but just amplify it. I listen to this for exercising or playing video games - always gets me pumped.
