Brett Dennen
Biography
Youthful West Coast singer/songwriter Brett Dennen first drew attention in 2004 with the single "Desert Sunrise." The tune, with its easy groove and soulful phrasing, garnered enough spins on KCRW to warrant the release of his self-titled debut the following year. In 2006 Dennen signed with Dualtone and released So Much More. Hope for the Hopeless followed on the same imprint in 2008. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide

He opened for The Avett Brothers last night in Charlotte. My daughter and I really liked his sound. I'll be buying his music.

He's 29 I guess...Born October 28, 1979 according to Wikipedia. He looks so much younger.

I saw him in concert in April, and he is the cutest!! He danced around the stage the whole time and gave everyone on stage, including his openers, a great big hug at the end of the set. He's like a big teddy bear, you can't help but love him. And even better in person, hard to find someone so young that's so talented. His voice is like a lullaby.

A softer John Mayer spin with a Jack Johnson acoustic sound that i really like.

I agree with Voltar - this dude, despite his AMAZING voice, is not so attractive at the moment...
|

Voltar: Who cares?
He has a great sound. Laid-back, jazzy. Thank heavens for -real- music as opposed to much of the pop crap that has infected the radio airwaves. |
||
went to his concert in Portland last weekend - amazing! You have to see him live. I appreciate his music even more.
|
||
Love the new album and the messages he has to share about religion, hope and loss. He has beautiful music, lyrics and values to share. Can't wait to see him live!
