Biography
When pastor Jim Cymbala and his wife Carol came to the Brooklyn Tabernacle in 1972, the church consisted of 15-20 people. Carol started a choir about a year later with nine people. Today, the choir has 240 voices and 6,000 people worship there every week. As a recording group, the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir has sold three million albums and has won several Grammy and Dove Awards. "I'm Amazed" is one of my most favorite songs that is so very uplifting and gets you spiritually blessed as you carry on through the day. GOD's blessings have definately poured out through this Choir and I pray that HE will continue to use them to bless others again and again as they have me.

While I lived in Brooklyn, I went to this church. There is truly an anointing in this church, I was very blessed every time I went. They are very humble and down to earth and are definitely salt and light in NYC. Every Sunday they literally sound as good in person as they do in CD or vice versa, which is pretty amazing.

Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir has a CD "Live... Praise Him" and the song is "Praise Him" will you put this song/CD on the list to be one that is played. I have truly become a fan of this CD and all the songs which are song on this CD. I am "Blessed" each time I hear one of The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir's CD. If they should get to Florida, I "Pray" I am in position to go and hear them live. This Choir truly sings under the Anointing of God.

As a kid growing up in Nigeria, I joined the children's choir. As I got into my teen years, I was promoted to the adult choir. All this because I love to sing to the Lord. The Brooklyn Tab. as I love to call this group, is simply phenomenal. I just love the group, and I love their voices.
I have their CDs and play the CDs at home, at work, and everywhere I go. I love their songs so much, especially the comforting messages in their songs. My dream is to watch them sing and belong to such a gro |

I had the opportunity to visit the Brooklyn Tabernacle in February. It was an answer to a prayer of many years to attend. I have been in the Ministry all of my life, born into it, married into it and even now as a Ministers Widow, Never, have I been in a Service so moving as on that Sunday. The presence of the Holy Spirit filled the air. I would've remained there until Jesus appeared, had I been allowed.
