Brotha Lynch Hung
Biography
A versatile producer as well as an excellent solo rapper in his own right, Brotha Lynch Hung was born Kevin Mann in Sacramento. He hooked up with Master P for a 1993 EP named 24 Deep, but then went out on his own for his debut solo album, 1995's Season of da Siccness. Mann worked on production for Master P's I'm Bout It, E-40's Southwest Riders, and Mr. Serv-On's Life Insurance before turning back to his own career. Given a big push by Master P's breakout success in the middle of 1997, Brotha Lynch Hung's sophomore album, Loaded, followed in 1997. EBK4 followed in 2000 and both Blocc Movement and Virus appeared the next summer. 2002 was less busy, with Appearances: Book 1 being released in the spring and the Plague DVD following it that summer. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide

Where is "Da season of da siccness?"
I want some baby nuts and guts all over your chest and stomach. |

There is PLENTY of substance with THIS guy.. He has none but a unique og west coast style, straight from Sacramento and isn't afraid to speak his locced-out mind. Better lycrical continuity than most rappers around.
Good rapper, but abuses the hook a little bit too much in a lot of songs and it makes it seem like there is less substance than there is
There ain't nothin like it. Original killa instincts dispersed in the form of hard a** raps. It would be nice if Pandora had Phonk Beta, Loki, and the D.E. on this s**t.

REPPIN SACTOWN-your doin us good Brotha Lynch! Much love!
I love his lyrics. When he is not getting brutally violent his lyrics are actually really poinient. His production hasn't been all that great since the mid-90's though.
Listen to da lyrics...way dark! Love it! Feel so hood wheni listen to his s**t!
pretty shabby write up on Lynch- 24 deep, Season of the Siccness and Loaded are his only real albums, he parted ways with Black Market Records and they continued to realease his music while he had no control over its presentation . Dude is a phenominal lyricist- every verse is solid, no lie....but his beats are hit and miss and all the dudes he flows with are garbage. He did CDs w C-BO and MC EIHT which are failry decent, but overall dude needs a solo disc of ONLY HIM with GOOD PRODUCTION
