More of a comment on your comment rather than this particular band, but who said sound consistency is some ultimate goal of people making music? Try not to impose your listening limitations on the music.

Sound like Bloodsimple with a slower guitarist and lyrics, but the same type of the Scream-then- s i n g . I like Bloodsimple better though, these guys are alright, but it sounds like they're trying to work with different sound types and not remaining consistant.
