Right, Golden Autumn 1&2 were released in Iran 1990-91 on tape, they came out on CD a couple of times before 2001. (see http://www.l a c h i n i . c o m / p i a n o / p a e e z 1 . h t m l )

2001 is the release date in North America.

Golden Autumn 1 was the album to which I felt asleep when I was a kid (In fact this album was distributed long before 2001--maybe the CD was released in 2001). I play most of the songs on this album by ear, and it gives pleasure to myself and everybody else who listens to them.

Honestly, I've listened to a LOT of pianists in the past few years, and exploring the different styles of Piano, as far as melacholy and ridiculously jovial-sound i n g , I'm going to have to regretfully say that Fariborz doesn't really stand out to me. Don't get me wrong, he's a phenominal piano player, coming from an amateur pianist, but his music has an almost generic sound to it. =/ I'm not sure, maybe I just need to listen to some other music for awhile, eh? :) but he's good. He's damn good
