fabulous ; it trapped my senses and without knowing where Faribotz is coming from, that somehow yes is
fantastic playing but he took me in far away lands.... his music is whispering to wake up and pay attention; there is a tone of nostalgia and somehow the other day he made me cry! |

Right, Golden Autumn 1&2 were released in Iran 1990-91 on tape, they came out on CD a couple of times before 2001. (see http://www.l a c h i n i . c o m / p i a n o / p a e e z 1 . h t m l )
2001 is the release date in North America. |

Golden Autumn 1 was the album to which I felt asleep when I was a kid (In fact this album was distributed long before 2001--maybe the CD was released in 2001). I play most of the songs on this album by ear, and it gives pleasure to myself and everybody else who listens to them.

This is so beautiful. I taste it sort of like a bitter-sweet piece of chocolate . It inspires a tender introspectio n . When I hear these pieces I feel a longing and a hint of sadness for a passage in my childhood...

Honestly, I've listened to a LOT of pianists in the past few years, and exploring the different styles of Piano, as far as melacholy and ridiculously jovial-sound i n g , I'm going to have to regretfully say that Fariborz doesn't really stand out to me. Don't get me wrong, he's a phenominal piano player, coming from an amateur pianist, but his music has an almost generic sound to it. =/ I'm not sure, maybe I just need to listen to some other music for awhile, eh? :) but he's good. He's damn good

The most beautiful piano on earth. His music inspires peace. I languish in the many moods I find myself in when his music fills my soul.
